Summer is here and that means it’s time for summer cocktails! To me, there is nothing better than having a tasty and refreshing cocktail to cool you down in the warm summer heat.

My friend called me because she’s throwing a summer kick off BBQ and asked me to make a cocktail for the occasion. I thought about what I would crave to drink the most. I love how refreshing watermelon and cucumber is together. Thankfully, I have a bottle of Prairie Organic Cucumber Vodka that I could use! I love using Prairie Organic Spirits because they all have a distinct, unique, award-winning taste that the distillers and farmers have worked hard to differentiate. Their spirits are made through a detailed process that begins with the very best organic corn and farmers who take their jobs seriously. I love when a company takes focus on those details because it really makes a noticeable difference. Prairie Organic knows the source of every ear of organic corn that goes into their bottles.

Cumber Watermelon Fizz Flatlay

The combination of the cucumber vodka with fresh watermelon is perfectly reminiscent of what a summer cocktail should be. I love to add a fizzy element because I equate refreshing with fizzy. I love the way something sparkling feels when it’s hot and I’m craving something to cool me down. I know this cocktail is going to be a hit and I know that people will love that I used Prairie Organic Spirits as they are one of the first USDA Certified Organic spirit brands, and remain the #1 brand in the organic category.
